India-EU Partnership Project (PP) on Cooperation for ICT Standardization –

An international conference on “Future Proof Smart Cities with a Common Service Layer: a standards driven approach” was organised by the Partnership Project in CDOT, New Delhi on 21st April, 2017. Need for standards based deployments in Smart Cities was emphasised by the Govt., Smart City Stakeholders and Solution Providers alike.

A 2-day ‘oneM2M Developers’ event was held in New Delhi and Bengaluru campuses of CDOT on June8-9, 2017 to spread awareness on the oneM2M platform.

The event focused on “development of oneM2M application by participants”. M2M Experts from C-DOT guided around 50 participants in the practical hands-on exercises to help them understand the oneM2M architecture and concepts.

The project extends travel support to Indian experts and researchers from academia / non-profit organizations to attend global technical conferences / seminars / training programmes. One such support was provided to a TSDSI member from academia who attended ETSI Summit on 5G Infrastructure in Sophia Antipolis in April 2017.

Knowledge Sharing Webinars are being conducted monthly under the aegis of the project – where subject matter experts are invited to speak on topics related to 5G, NFV/SDN, ITS and Security matters. These webinars are open to the general public. A list of webinars is provided below. Link to presentations are available at https://goo.gl/b17Lb7.
