As you may be aware, the DoT has announced extension of the subsidy to 3GPP IMs who are in the startups/MSMEs category with turnover of up to INR 500 Cr for the international 3GPP meeting travel.
The details of the scheme are mentioned in the table below:-
Financial Support & Eligibility Criteria-
| Eligibility | Financial support to be provided by DoT (% of expenditure) |
| International Travel Support for 3GPP meetings | 80%
(The limit of subsidy is INR 5 lakh per person per international 3GPP WG/TSG meeting) |
The signed application form must be submitted at least 8 weeks in advance of the date of the intended 3GPP meeting by email to TravelSupport@tsdsi.in. However, for the 3GPP meetings in August 2026, the application may please be submitted within one week of this email.
The proposal will be examined by a committee and approved based on merit. Travel Subsidy will be provided as reimbursement after the travel is complete and the bills are submitted.
