The Hon’ble Union Minister of Communications released the latest standard developed by TSDSI on Multi-User Semi-Autonomous Telerobotics – QoS Aspects to the hon’ble Minister of Communications in the Valedictory session of the 9th TSDSI Tech Deep Dive (TTDD) 2026 Conference, at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi, on 10 July 2026.
The Technical Standard titled “Architecture and Exchange-Semantics for Application-Layer Controlled Dynamic QoS provisioning in Telerobotics and Similar Remote Operation Systems in a Multiuser Environment”, enables dynamic sequencing of multi-user operations to ensure QoS in real-time environment for semi-autonomous telerobotic applications. It supports centralized cloud coordination with selective low-latency peer-to-peer communication, enabling seamless multi-user collaboration. Standardized APIs, information solution development and interoperability. The standard can be viewed on TSDSI website at link here.

The hon’ble Minister also released following technical study reports on the occasion:
Technical Report on SDN-Based Optical Network for QKD: Secure and Adaptive Architecture, which addresses challenges of deploying QKD over conventional optical infrastructure by introducing SDN controller with dynamically managing quantum and classical communication channels and directions for optimal transmission path. It detects security threats and reroutes quantum key exchanges through secure alternate paths using programmable optical switches, ROADMs, and trusted relay nodes. The report can be viewed on TSDSI website at the link here.
Technical Report on AI supported use Cases in Agriculture Domain – Plant Leaf Disease Identification, which leverages computer vision, deep learning models, and advanced image acquisition techniques such as drones & mobile devices and enabled by emerging network technologies with future pointers to create new data sets in agriculture sector scaleup. The report can be viewed on TSDSI website at link here.
