TSDSI felicitates its Hall of Fame 2021 Awardees on its 8th Founding Day

TSDSI Hall of Fame 2021 Awardees were felicitated in an online ceremony on 7th January, 2022 –  TSDSI’s 8th Founding Day.

Prof Bhaskar Ramamurthi, Former Chair of TSDSI and Director IIT Madras was recognised as TSDSI Hall of Fame 2021 Champion for “his leadership role in catalysing the government, industry and academia to set up TSDSI and steering it successfully through its start-up phase to become a globally respected SDO”.

Mr R K Pathak, Member of TSDSI Governing Council and Deputy Director General- International Cooperation, DoT was felicitated as TSDSI Hall of Fame 2021 Fellow for Organization Building for being a pillar of support for TSDSI from its conception, championing TSDSI within DoT in its formative years and laying a solid foundation for TSDSI by leading the drafting of its rules, regulations and working procedures”.

The awardees received a plaque – conferred virtually from Mr Malcolm Johnson, Deputy Secretary General, ITU. The awards ceremony was chaired by Mr Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member – Services, DoT and joined by current and past TSDSI Chairs – Mr N G Subramaniam, Chief Operating Officer – Tata Consultancy Services; Prof Abhay Karandikar, Director IIT Kanpur; and Dr Kumar Sivarajan, Chief Technology Officer- Tejas Networks Ltd along with Dr Rajkumar Upadhyay, Co-chair TSDSI Outreach Committee and Executive Director C-DOT; Mr N K Goyal, President CMAI and Ms Pamela Kumar, Director General, TSDSI.
