In an era of innovation driven by rapidly evolving technologies, standards play a pivotal role in offering stability to product lines and accelerating deployments, facilitating integration of products and solutions leading to expansion of markets. Standardization is no longer an optional volunteering activity, but a core competence that is essential to foster growth and ensure competitiveness. Against this backdrop, it is essential for industry stakeholders, startups, and R & D/Academia to strategically engage with the development of standards to help India take a leadership position in the global standards arena.
As part of our 10th anniversary celebrations, TSDSI is launching a series of “Standards Awareness Workshops” in various cities of the country to raise awareness of the crucial role of Standards in innovation and success in today’s digitally driven ecosystem. The goal is to encourage companies and R&D organizations to establish dedicated internal structures for adoption and contribution to the development of standards. The series will also act as an ideation platform to discover locally relevant use cases/topics that have a potential for standardization.
These workshops will cover the local industry, startups, R&D and academia, relating the standardization opportunities to the organic ICT activity in the region. Participants are expected to gain invaluable insights into:
- The value proposition of engaging with standards
- Current and future technology trends from a B5G to 6G perspective, covering Networks, Solutions, and Applications
- Overview of TSDSI & Global standards forums’ activities and processes
- Potential areas of engagement with standards.
