Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS) Workshop (17 March 2025)

COMET Foundation, in technical collaboration with TSDSI and supported by Bharat6G Alliance, organized a workshop on Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces at IIIT Bangalore on March 17, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM IST.

The key objectives of the workshop were:

  1. Providing a platform for Indian researchers and industry professionals working in the field of RIS to exchange ideas.
  2. Demonstrating the COMET testbed facility capabilities to Indian researchers and industry (as per terms and conditions), making it open for use, and identifying the needs of the community from this testbed.
  3. Discussing global and domestic standardization activities in RIS to enable Indian researchers to contribute to these initiatives.
