Announcing seminar on “PATH TO 5G – ESSENTIAL BUILDING BLOCKS FOR 5G INDIA 2020” hosted in Nokia Bangalore on 23 July 2018.
TSDSI, in association with Nokia, is proud to announce a seminar on “PATH TO 5G – ESSENTIAL BUILDING BLOCKS FOR 5G INDIA 2020” at the Nokia Bangalore Technology centre on JULY 23rd, 2018.
5G technologies, slated to be a disruptive technology in the digital world, has different connotations for users from different markets, verticals and a host of newly emerging set of digitally powered services. In the Indian context, 5G has the potential of bridging the urban-rural digital divide.
This seminar is being organised to discuss 5G from the standpoint of different building blocks required for roll out of 5G by 2020. These building blocks include 3GPP standards and technology enablers, ecosystem development, device readiness, identification of use cases, testbeds etc. that facilitate India’s goal of 5G India 2020. The discussion topics will cover service provider viewpoint, updates on R&D initiatives, snapshot of standardization activities, policy perspective and roadmap.
This seminar is part of TSDSI Technology Dialog series, an initiative, to promote dialog between stakeholders from the industry, academia, R&D, Govt. and start-ups on select topics of significance to the Indian telecom ecosystem, as part of our pre-standardization activities.
