TECH DEEP DIVE CONFERENCE (TTDD 2024) (July 16-19, 2024)

TSDSI organised an Annual TSDSI Technical Deep Dive (TTDD) Conference to bring together technocrats, researchers and standards experts from around the world for discussions on topics related to global standardisation activities, and emerging and futuristic technology trends. The Conference, now in its 7^th year had come to be widely acclaimed in the digital communications ecosystem for its choice of topics and the high-quality deliberations.

About TTDD 2024

The 7^th edition of the conference, TTDD 2024 was held from 16^th to 19^th July 2024. It had 6 fully online technical sessions followed by the Conference theme session which was conducted in hybrid mode in New Delhi on 19^th July.

The TTDD 2024 conference, with its theme of “Realizing the 6G Vision: Societal Needs, Usage Scenarios & Technologies” deliberated on the following topics:

• Usage Scenarios
• Emerging Technology Trends
• Ubiquitous Intelligence: AI/ML enabled Future Networks
• Security & Privacy
• Spectrum Aspects for 5G Advanced and 6G
• Rural Broadband Technology Landscape

The conference theme Session “Realizing the 6G Vision – Societal Needs” was held in hybrid mode at Jacaranda Hall, Indian Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Key findings from the conference technical sessions on Usage Scenarios and Technologies was used as a reference point for the discussions in this session.

The conference concluded with the TSDSI Outstanding Technical Contribution Awards (FY 2023-24) ceremony and a social reception thereafter. A session on the overview of TSDSI and its activities was conducted in the morning half of the hybrid day activities on 19th July.

The conference showcased work being done in TSDSI and global SDOs and forums, research initiatives, industry and policy trends, and innovations that had the potential for standardization. Like the earlier editions, the conference served as a platform for the exchange of ideas among experts and identified opportunities for downstream collaboration.
