Invitation to Sponsor 3GPP SA & CT WG Meetings Hosted by TSDSI in Goa (February 9-13, 2026)

TSDSI will host the 3GPP SA & CT Working Group meetings – SA1, SA2, SA3, SA4, SA5, SA6, CT1, CT3, CT4 in Goa – close to the North Beach Goa Belt, India from 9 to 13 February 2026. This presents an excellent opportunity for TSDSI’s 3GPP members in India to participate in these meetings within their country, reducing costs and efforts associated with international travel. The event also reinforces India’s growing role in global telecommunications standardization, fostering domestic innovation and engagement with international experts.

TSDSI invites proposals from members, partners, and associates to support these meetings through sponsorship.

About the Meetings

SA Working Groups

The SA working groups handle standardization work relating to the overall architecture and service capabilities of systems in the following areas:

  • SA1: Services
  • SA2: System Architecture and Services
  • SA3: Security and Privacy
  • SA4: Multimedia Codecs, Systems and Services
  • SA5: Management, Orchestration and Charging
  • SA6: Application Enablement & Critical Communication Applications

The groups cover a diverse array of topics, such as 3GPP system architecture and services which include user equipment, access networks, and core networks. They also address security in the 5G system, including the 3GPP enhancements for IoT and vertical industries. Management and Orchestration covers aspects such as operation and automation, including management interaction with entities external to the network operator. Charging covers aspects such as Quota Management and Charging Data Records (CDRs) generation related to end-users and service providers. Additionally, they focus on critical communication applications, service frameworks, and enablers for vertical applications.

The working groups have started standardization activities towards Release 20 covering update of 5G Advanced specifications and studies towards 6G.

CT Working Groups

The CT Working Group handle standardization work relating to core network and terminals broadly in the following areas:

  • CT1: User Equipment – Core Network protocols
  • CT3: Interworking with External Networks & Policy and Charging Control
  • CT4: Core Network Protocols

The groups cover a diverse array of topics, including internal and external interfaces/protocols of the core network, IP multimedia systems, protocols for numbering, addressing, access, and mobility management. They also address interface/protocol support for vertical industry services such as mission-critical services, industrial IoT, and automotive technologies, in addition to exploring interworking with edge computing networks.

The above meetings are open for participation by 3GPP Members.

Terms & Conditions for Sponsorship

3GPP SA & CT Working Group Meetings (9–13 February 2026, Goa)

  1. Sponsorship Confirmation & Payment
  1. Sponsorship will be considered only after receipt of a written request email from the sponsoring organization, latest by 19 January 2026.
  2. Full payment must be made within 15 days of receiving the invoice from TSDSI, OR not later than 22 January 2026, whichever is earlier.
  3. All payments must be made via bank transfer to the account details provided by TSDSI.
  4. Taxes are additional and payable as applicable under Indian law.
  1. Allocation of Sponsorship Slots
  1. Sponsorship opportunities are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
  2. In the case of group sponsorships, the participating organizations must nominate a Lead Sponsor, responsible for commercial, financial, and coordination matters with TSDSI.
  1. Branding, Logo Usage & Deliverables
  1. Diamond sponsor shall have privileges to showcase its branding visibility alongside the sponsor Categories: Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, Shuttle Transport, and Photobooth.
  2. Sponsors must provide high-resolution logos and artwork within 7 working days of sponsorship confirmation OR latest by January 15, 2026, whichever is earlier.
  3. Placement of logos will follow the guidelines defined by TSDSI each sponsorship tier (e.g., standees, backdrops, photo booth, badges, shuttle branding).
  4. TSDSI reserves the right to adjust artwork for size, visibility, or layout based on production requirements.
  5. Branding visibility is restricted to the designated areas corresponding to the sponsorship category; no additional promotional materials may be displayed without prior approval.

 

  1. Complimentary Rooms
  1. Complimentary rooms included under specific sponsorship tiers are for single occupancy with breakfast only for delegates of the sponsoring organization.
  2. Room allocation is subject to availability in the meeting venue hotel. However, in case of non-availability, room(s) may be provided in non-venue hotel at TSDSI’s discretion.
  3. Unused complimentary room nights cannot be exchanged for cash or other benefits.
  4. The sponsor shall intimate details of their delegates with their itinerary for blocking the complimentary rooms allocated, in advance.
  1. Souvenir Sponsor Responsibilities
  1. Sponsor will bear the expenses of procuring, printing, transporting and distributing the souvenirs in the meeting rooms at the venue.
  2. Souvenir Sponsors must manage procurement, printing, transport, and timely delivery of the souvenirs to all meeting venues.
  3. The souvenir items, their design, material and quality shall be approved by TSDSI in advance. It is recommended that these be in line with the TSDSI branding guidelines and the meeting theme design.
  4. The souvenir item shall be such that it will be able to display the logos of the sponsor and TSDSI appropriately as per the respective branding guidelines along with the meeting information.
  5. Sponsors are responsible for ensuring that their materials do not violate copyright, trademark, or third-party rights of TSDSI and other co-sponsors.
