5G Huddle 2020 (5-6 Feb, 2020: New Delhi)

Wireless World Research Forum organises a 5G Huddle conference in different parts of the world annually. TSDSI partnered with WWRF to host the 7th Annual 5G Huddle in New Delhi on 5-6 February 2020, along with Broadband India Forum and ITU APT Foundation of India.
The theme of this edition was 5G as a Catalyst for Digital Transformation. It looked at the progress that has been made in the world’s 5G journey, and more importantly the challenges that still remain in order for the long-term benefits of this truly transformational technology to be felt across all areas of society. Topics included:
- 5G Deployment: state of play and early lessons from around the world
- Outcomes of WRC19
- Regulatory & Cyber-Security Challenges of 5G
- Business models and Network Architecture for Long-term and sustainable future for 5G
- Potential of 5G for Digital and Socio-economic transformation in urban environments and for bridging the digital divide by providing connectivity and applied to representative vertical segments in rural areas.
The 2nd day focused on topics from India perspective – Spectrum Pricing & Management for 5G in India; Role of Indian Academia, Research & Standards bodies in driving Innovation in 5G;
