SUMMARY:TSDSI TECH DEEP DIVE CONFERENCE (TTDD 2026)
DESCRIPTION:TSDSI organizes its annual flagship TSDSI Tech Deep Dive (TTDD) Conference which brings together leading experts and stakeholders from government\, industry\, academia\, research institutions\, and global standards bodies to engage in in-depth technical discussions on emerging telecommunications technologies and standards. The conference serves as a platform for collaborative dialogue aimed at strengthening India’s leadership and contributions in the global telecom standards ecosystem. \nThe 9th edition of the TSDSI Tech Deep Dive (TTDD) Conference will be held from 7 to 10 July 2026\, under the theme: “Shaping the Next Decade of Telecommunications: 6G Standards\, Systems and Cross-Sector Synergies.” \nAbout TTDD 2026: \nThe standardization of 6G—defined as IMT-2030 by the International Telecommunication Union—has moved from a vision-led phase to a requirements-driven stage\, marked by the finalization of baseline capabilities for next-generation networks. TSDSI has been contributing to the development of the IMT2030 framework\, usage scenarios and technical performance requirements\, building upon the systems and learnings of 5G. \nOver the past three years\, TTDD discussions have evolved from exploring the convergence of emerging technologies to shaping the 6G vision and further defining standardization pathways.  Building on this momentum\, TTDD2026 will deliberate on “Standards\, Systems and Cross-Sector Synergies”\, with a focus on aligning standardization efforts with practical deployment imperatives. \nKey topics this year include AI-native\, trusted\, and scalable network architectures; open and interoperable platforms on general-purpose hardware; and innovations in High Altitude Platform Systems (HAPS). Discussions will also address priority verticals\, key use cases\, and the need for sustainable\, cost-efficient connectivity\, alongside the convergence of AI\, IoT\, and intelligent infrastructure. \nA systems approach based on the concept of virtualized and AI supported service delivery platforms for implementing use cases with progressively evolving requirements is gaining momentum.  Equally significant is the role of cross-sector collaboration in realizing the full potential of future networks. The conference will address how standards development\, technological innovation\, and multi-sector partnerships can collectively shape a resilient\, inclusive\, and future-ready telecommunications ecosystem. \nTTDD 2026 will feature six fully online technical sessions of 2.25 hours each during 7–9 July 2026 on the following topics listed below: \n\nEmerging 6G Architecture Options\nAI Native 6G\nSecurity\, Privacy & Trust in 6G\nHAPS based connectivity– Technical Feasibility\, Trials\, and Market Dynamics\nPriority Verticals & Transformative Use Cases in 6G\nOpen and Interoperable Systems for seamless connectivity of heterogenous networks\n\nOn 10 July 2026\, the conference will shift to hybrid mode and will include the TTDD Concluding Session\, during which summaries of the technical sessions will be presented\, followed by a Panel Discussion on the Partners Perspective. The programme will conclude with the Valedictory Session\, which will include the Outstanding Technical Contribution Awards Ceremony for FY 2025–26.  The OTC Awards recognize efforts of technical experts from TSDSI member organizations in making significant contributions to and/or championing a technical activity within TSDSI during the financial year 2025-26. \nFor details on the previous editions kindly click here \nConference Contacts: \nShefali Sinha (shefali@tsdsi.in\, +91 9810539624) \nRitika deo (ritika.deo@tsdsi.in\, +91 8923203356)
