SUMMARY:TECH DEEP DIVE CONFERENCE (TTDD 2025) | July 15-18\, 2025
DESCRIPTION:TSDSI organized its annual TSDSI Tech Deep Dive (TTDD) Conference\, which brought together technocrats\, researchers\, and standards experts to discuss global standardization activities and emerging technology trends. The Conference has come to be widely acclaimed in the digital communications ecosystem for its choice of topics and high-quality deliberations. \nAbout TTDD 2025: \nThe 8th edition of the conference\, TTDD 2025 was held from 15 to 18 July 2025 with the theme “Standardising 6G: Architecting Intelligent\, Secure and Sustainable Networks & Services”. \nThe conference had six fully online technical sessions from 15 to 17 July 2025 on the following topics: \n\nNew network architecture possibilities for 6G\nDid AI find a central role in 6G?\nFuture path and Challenges for integration of Non-Terrestrial (Satellite\, HAPS and UAVs) & Terrestrial Networks for 6G communication\nSecurity in a hyper connected world\, especially for 6G\nManagement and Service Delivery Architectures\nThe OFDM dilemma and Potential new Waveforms for 6G\n\n\nOn the last day\, 18th July\, the conference was conducted in hybrid mode starting with a workshop on “New Networks and Services aspects of 6G Ecosystems.” This was followed by presentations on summary findings from the technical sessions and the conferring of the TSDSI Outstanding Technical Contributions (OTC) Awards (FY 24-25). The OTC Awards recognize an individual’s efforts in contributing to and/or championing a technical activity within TSDSI during the financial year (April through March). \nVisit the conference website https://ttdd.tsdsi.in/ for further details

SUMMARY:Women in Standards – Round Table 2025 (11th March 2025\, online)
DESCRIPTION:Information and Communication Technologies are a fundamental driver of today’s society. Standards play a crucial role in effective development and deployment of these technologies. \nWomen bring valuable perspectives to development of standards as users of technology and as innovators. However\, despite significant advancements\, participation of women in developing technology standards remains disproportionately low as compared to men. \nIn the age of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digitally driven society\, gender-diverse participation in the standardization process is imperative to ensure balanced\, accountable\, and bias-free technology development. Enhancing involvement of women in standardization efforts improves the quality and relevance of technology standards. \nTSDSI organized an online Round Table on “Women in Standards” on 11th March\, 2025 from 14:30 – 15:45 PM IST with the objective of promoting participation of women in standards development. \nThe discussions featured women technology experts who are in various stages of engaging with development of standards. They shared their experiences and learnings\, including how it has helped them in their career & organizational growth. \nKey Takeaways & Recommendations: \nOrganizations with higher female representation in leadership roles serve as exemplars\, yet systemic and institutionalized practices are still lacking. Foster a culture where women are not only part of the conversation but lead the transformation of technology standards. \n\nDevelop clear communication and negotiation skills to effectively articulate problems\, propose solutions\, and build consensus among diverse stakeholders\nIdentify relevant standards bodies\, actively participate in discussions\, involve juniors for skill development\, map study groups to national bodies\, and find the right mentors for guidance\nLaunch educational initiatives to increase awareness of standardization processes and opportunities within technical bodies like ITU and TSDSI\nEstablish mentorship programs led by successful women in the field to support emerging professionals\nFuture technologies should be accountable and inclusive\n\nDetails: \nDate – 11th March 2025 \nTime – 14:30 – 15:45 PM IST \nParticipation: Registrations are now closed. \nVenue – Online over Go to Webinar. \nRecording: \n\nProgram Agenda  \n\n\n\nSession\nSpeakers\nTime Duration\n\n\nOpening Remarks & Context Setting\nAnuradha Kanamarlapudi\, TSDSI Outreach Committee Co-chair (GE Healthcare)\n5 min\n\n\nKeynote Address\nMs Ghazala Faisal\, DDG (Tx)\, DoT\, TEC\n10 min\n\n\nPanel Discussion \n \nModerator – Anuradha Kanamarlapudi\, GE Healthcare \n  \nPanellists: \n1.       Garima Mishra\, TCS \n2.       Noor Fatma\, Eosify Solutions \n3.       Pimmy Gandotra\, Airtel \n4.       Sonali Garg\, HFCL\n45 min\n\n\nQ & A\n10 min\n\n\nClosing Remarks\nAnuradha Kanamarlapudi\, TSDSI Outreach Committee Co-chair (GE Healthcare)\n5 min
