Indo-European Conference on Standardisation and Emerging Technology 3rd Edition

The 3rd Edition of Indo-European Conference on Standards and Emerging Technology is being organised by European Committee for Standardization (CEN), the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC), the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), European Commission’s Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry and Entrepreneurship (DG GROW) and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) in the framework of their Project SESEI (www.sesei.eu) in partnership with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and TSDSI on 26th April, 2018 in New Delhi.
The objective of the conference is to facilitate dialog between Subject Matter Experts from Europe and India on standardization, policies and regulations and emerging technologies in the following areas:
- ICT, covering M2M/IoT & its role in Smart Cities and Cyber Security
- Automotive covering Electric mobility and Intelligent Transport System (ITS)
- Smart Energy covering Smart Grids, Smart Metering, LVDC, Micro Grids etc.
A set of reports on the above topics will be released during the conference. Further deliberations on how to address the challenges identified and recommendations on way forward will be held through presentations and panel discussions.
